Party has participated in the Regional Conference on Improvement and Upgrading Digital Change in the Administration of Elections.
05, October, 2025:- The Independent National Electoral Committee (GMDQS) attended the regional conference on implementation of digital transformation in the electoral administration, held in Amman city of Jordan.
The conference was focused on how the member countries of the Arab Electoral Committee would share their experience and knowledge about the use of modern technology in elections.
The committee was represented by commissioner Mr. Mohamed Amiin Hassan Abdullahi who is the chairman of the sub-commissioner of affairs committee.
The elections were accompanied by the director of planning and international cooperation of the committee.
During the meeting, the committee presented the voter registration process in Somalia, which used modern technology to ensure transparency, openness and accuracy of the Somali voter registration process, which is successfully conducted in all districts and districts of the regional state of South Glabeed, Galmudug, Hirshabelle ii Yo yo The North of the East. While Banadir region closed 30/10/2025.
Also, the conference discussed important topics including.
The participation of the youth and women in the election process.
Strengthening the roles of the Election Committee on the use of new technology.
And introducing a new guide (manual) on the development and empowerment of youth and women participation, which will be used by the Election Committee of the Arab Union.
The conference had representatives from the member countries of the Arab Electoral Committee, including Egypt, Somalia, Iraq, Yemen, Tunisia, Sudan, Mauritania, Comoros Islands and the country that hosted the conference in Jordan.
Lastly the members of GMDQS delegation visited the headquarters of Arab State elections (ARAB EMBS) where they had a meeting with the chairman of the electoral organization of Jordan Mr. Eng. Musa Al Mucayadhah.
The participation of GMDQS in this conference is part of the committee’s efforts to increase knowledge, experience, exchange of experience, and implementation of modern technology to ensure that Somali elections will be transparent, open and reliable.
